RESTRICTED ANIMALS

Kaycie's Creature Camp cannot provide service for any animal which is aggressive, dangerous, venomous, poisonous, or otherwise toxic, as well as large predatory animals (Examples: very large snakes, poison frogs, space sharks with lasers for eyes, etc).

Client acknowledges full disclosure of their pet concerning destruction, aggression, escaping, and damage has been provided.

HOUSE KEY RETURNS

For in-home pet sitting services, your key will be safely kept at Kaycie's Creature Camp until your safe return home. You may request we hold it for a future service.

Keys left in our care will be tagged, labeled, and kept in a secure lock box, and may only be returned to the listed owners or emergency contacts.

EXERCISE & FUN

While at Kaycie's Creature Camp, your pet will enjoy as much freedom and play time as is possible! Non-destructive, dog friendly dogs may engage in supervised group play. Cats will have access to a safe play space. Boarding includes daily snacks, treats, games, and use of in-house toys!

Crates are used for sleeping, meal time, transitions, and safety. We strive to send your Creature home tired, spoiled and happy!

REFUNDS & PAYMENT

Refunds cannot be provided after the service has been provided. Special circumstances considered only on a case-by-case basis.

Payment for your scheduled service is due in full prior to your first scheduled service. You will be provided with a receipt.

We accept CASH, CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS, or FACEBOOK PAY.

CANCELLATIONS

Please do us the courtesy of 48 hours notice of any cancellation.

Scheduled services cancelled within 2 days of your departure date cannot be refunded.

Payment for scheduled visits which are cut short while in progress cannot be refunded.

Legal Stuff

Payment is due in full before or at the first scheduled visit.
Client acknowledges Kaycie's Creature Camp provides vacation care for pet owners who will be out of town for extended periods of time. Client therefore acknowledges Kaycie's Creature Camp's cancellation/refund policy.
Cancellations made less than 2 days before departure date payment in full is required.
Scheduled visits booked less than 2 days from Clients departure date & cancelled cannot be refunded.
Scheduled visits cut short while in progress, payment cannot be refunded.
Any additional/emergency costs incurred by Kaycie's Creature Camp while caring for your pet beyond the contracted agreement is to be reimbursed upon the pet owner's return.
Visits cancelled due to incliment weather cannot be refunded.
Client agrees that by leaving their pet(s) in Kaycie's Creature Camp's care that we have relied on Client's representations that their pet(s) have been vaccinated and are in good health. Client agrees to keep their pet(s) current on ALL recommended vaccinations as long as Client is using our service. Client acknowledges that any history or tendency by their pet(s) towards straying, fighting, biting, destruction or damage has been fully disclosed.
Client acknowledges that Kaycie's Creature Camp is not a veterinary service or otherwise able to diagnose or independently treat ailments, injuries, or illnesses. Kaycie's Creature Camp's medical service is only intended to assist with the implementation of a properly diagnosed treatment plan ordered previously by an appropriate veterinary professional. Clients requiring medication agrees to hold Kaycie's Creature Camp harmless of liability should a treatment in any way fail to produce a successful outcome, or leads to allergic or otherwise negative reactions. Kaycie's Creature Camp has the right to refuse this service at any time, and will follow all written/prescribed directions.
In order for Kaycie's Creature Camp to care for a diabetic pet, the pet must have a regular hearty appetite and readily eat on it's own in order to give the insulin injection. Kaycie's Creature Camp will not force feed a diabetic pet. While in our care, if a diabetic pet refuses to eat and is unable to have insulin administered, Kaycie's Creature Camp has the right to refuse continued care & seek medical assistance, at Clients cost. Kaycie's Creature Camp will not be held liable if your diabetic pet refuses to eat and is unable to receive a scheduled insulin injection. By policy, we skip ONLY 1 (one) insulin shot per a rejected meal before seeking vet care at the 2nd (second) meal refusal. In the event that the pet does not eat & Kaycie's Creature Camp has already skipped the 1st insulin injection and is unable to administer the next scheduled insulin injection (2nd injection), we will contact the pet owner and the listed vet to make arrangements for veteranary boarding until the owner returns home.
In the event of bad weather, if Kaycie's Creature Camp is physically unable to reach your home due to impassable roads, we will contact you to make arrangements for your pet(s) to ensure their well being. This may include contacting an Emergency Contact, or leaving out extra food & water until a pet sitter or owner can return to care for them. The length of visits may also be cut short due to bad weather to get our pet sitters off the roads.
Kaycie's Creature Camp does not plow, blow, or shovel driveways & walkways. If the client's complex or subdivision does not have snow removal service the client is responsible for making arrangements to clear their driveway/walkways when there are 2 inches or more of snow. If Kaycie's Creature Camp gets stuck in a driveway due to lack of proper snow removal, the client is responsible for out-of-pocket towing to get the Kaycie's Creature Camp vehicle out of the driveway.
Client acknowledges Kaycie's Creature Camp does not participate in shared pet care of uninsured parties who do not permanently reside in the home, who come into the pet owner's home while the homeowners are away. Should another party outside an insured pet care service enter the client's home, Kaycie's Creature Camp is released of any/all liability.
Client will be responsible for all medical expenses/damages resulting from an injury to a pet sitter or other person by Client's pet(s). Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the pet sitter in the event of a claim by a person injured by Client's pet(s). In the event that another animal is bit by Client's pet(s) or exposed to a disease/ailment from Client's pet(s), it will be Client's responsibility to pay all medically related costs incurred by the "Victim" pet(s) owners.
Kaycie's Creature Camp is not responsible for damages or loss to your home beyond our control (i.e. leaks, electrical problems, acts of nature, burglary). In such situations Kaycie's Creature Camp will contact the owner and the authorities immediately. In the event of such unforseen circumstances regarding the owners home, Kaycie's Creature Camp reserves the right to remove a pet from an unsecured/unsafe location for the remainder of the contracted service.
Kaycie's Creature Camp is not liable for any damage done to the client's home or personal property by their pet(s). In the event your pet(s) soils the carpet, floor or furniture, we will strive to clean the areas to the best of our abilities.
If the client's pet(s) use a "pet door", if the client requests it left open during care, the client releases Kaycie's Creature Camp from liability if anything happens to the pet(s) when outdoors or when we aren't on the premises.
If a client's pet(s) become ill while under our care, client authorizes Kaycie's Creature Camp to transport ill pet(s) to a veterinarian. Every effort will be made to contact client or client's emergency contact to approve any emergency treatment recommended by the veterinarian. Clients are responsible for all medical bills.
Clients acknowledge that, while in our care, photographs of their pet(s) may be taken for record keeping, identification purposes, or for display on Kaycie's Creature Camp's website or Facebook page for promotional means. Kaycie's Creature Camp will take the utmost care not to display private, identifying, or location information. To ensure the Clients privacy, photos of their pet(s) will not be displayed until after the Clients trip is completed. Clients may request the removal of any photograph displayed by Kaycie's Creature Camp should they find its content concerning.
Clients should contact Kaycie's Creature Camp via phone or text message as soon as they arrive home so we know you are resuming responsibility for your pet(s). Doing so will avoid additional charges for unnecessary visits to your home.
Completion of the service agreement is a request, not a guarantee of availability. Services are provided on a first come first served basis and must be confirmed/paid for prior to completion. Client acknowledges that incomplete/inaccurate information provided in the intake forms may result in a refusal of service or veterinary boarding at the Clients expense.
